Korea times has reported on Tuesday that Samsung has set its sights for reaching land mark of selling half billion mobile phones in 2013.

Korea times also quoted an unnamed resource at Samsung, who claimed that in 2012 Samsung succeeded in selling 420 million cellphones this means the sells want to rise up by 20% in one year.

The division of this 510 million sells in 2013 is 390 million smartphones and 120 feature phones units.

Earlier this year Samsung beat up Nokia and became the World’s largest cellphones manufacturer and now this amazing sales next year would take it further ahead of its rival.

The rumours of Samsung upcoming flagship smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S4, are really hot around and this should be the key point of getting momentum for the company next year.

A few months ago it was reported that Samsung Galaxy S3 beat up iPhone 4 sales in the third quarter of the year which means Samsung has really got some guts and we can expect some more in year 2013 from them. If Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S4 reached the same incredible landmark or a few more then there should be no problem for Samsung to achieve these sales next year.
