The further breakdown of this research is made as 2% people out of this 271 would be Australian; Chinese are leading with 57% users and after them are Americans with 35% internet users. The percentages of 11, 9, and 6 are distributed among Brazilians, Indians, and Nigerians respectively. However, 3% remaining internet users would be from Indonesia. The interesting thing about the research is no other country would be contributing more than 1% internet users.

When the researchers break down this further they interestingly found that Chine has internet users more than the people in United States, surpassed in 2007. Similarly U.S. has internet users more than people in Brazil. United States has more mobile internet users than online population of any other country except of China. Some of the countries like Spain, Finland, and Estonia have declared the use of Internet as the legal right for their citizens.



Each day about 19 Million people discover the internet and add the value to the total internet users. Nearly 65% of the internet users are from developing countries and 35% from the developed ones. The ratio used to be reverse back in 2005, when internet users from developed countries were more than those in developing countries. Since the same year of 2005, the number of global internet users has also increased to double.

The researcher said, if there was only one hour in a day, people would be spending 13.6 mints visiting social networking websites in U.S. 6.1 mints in online gaming, 5 mints in emails, 2.4 mints in movies and 20 mints in other websites than some specified ones.
