Apple has recently doubled the iPad 4 storage from 64 gigs to 128 gigs. The company’s Vice President of worldwide marketing Phil Schiller announced the new large capacity version of iPad 4.
He said:
"It's clear that customers around the world love their iPads, and every day they are finding more great reasons to work, learn and play on their iPads rather than their old PCs."
While increasing the storage capacity of applications to over 300,000 applications, Schiller further made it clear that Apple also intends this tablet to “enterprises, educators and artists.”
What’s The Price?
Ok this would be a definite question one can expect from iPad/Apple lover. The new upgraded version of IPad 4 is releasing on 5th of February. The device will be launched in either of the two standard colors of iPad, i.e. black or white. The suggested retail price are $799(US) for the WiFi version and $929 for WiFi plus cellular version.
The new iPad 4 128GB also popped up the iOS 6.1 beta version which was build just yesterday.
With this greater capacity for storage companies which use larger CAD files, X-Rays, film edits and tracks would be benefit. Also the new iPad4 128GB will appeal to home users want to carry around more movies, applications and music tracks.
